About This File

The symmetry of a gerbera is always striking and when it is in such a vibrant red even more so. Since the stock image I used had some imperfections in the petals I added some of my own using  a technique I learned from a tutorial by John Selvia, who was a very active member of the skinning community (Lyzrdstomp and the original Skinartistry) and Emmy award winning graphic design artist.   I purposely chose to make a rough textured background (again which I learned from John's tutorials)  to offset the softness of the petals,  added some water drops and lit the flower to take your focus immediately there.

Two sizes in the zip:  2560 x 1600 and 1920 x 1200
